Apple's new iPad continues to be the weapon of choice for many companies, and the automotive industry has its own share in the game. Mercedes-Benz Financial announced today it is distributing the 3G version of the Apple iPad to the entire Mercedes-Benz U.S. dealer network.
This means that all 355 US dealers will get instant mobile access to its proprietary dealer point-of-sale system called MB Advantage. The decision followed a pilot scheme that began back in June with 40 dealers.
