New Ford Focus Rated at 40 MPG

The puzzle that has been the new Ford Focus, with its very slow unveiling, is now complete, after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued its report regarding the model.

According to the EPA, the Focus is capable of achieving a fuel economy of 40 mpg (5.88l/100 km). The rating, valid for the Focus with the SFE (Super Fuel Economy) package and a six-speed automatic transmission, makes the model the fourth in the Ford line-up to become a serious contender on the segment.
