Although Roush intends to initially produce 50 Blink chargers per day for San Francisco-based Ecotality, the Livonia plant has the capability to pump out as many as 250 units daily. Richard Trotter, executive director of Roush Manufacturing, claims that by year's end, 16,000 Blink charging stations will have shipped from the Livonia plant to destinations laid out in Ecotality's EV Project. The project now reaches 17 cities and major metropolitan areas in six states and the District of Columbia, including the newly added San Francisco Bay Area.
