That's the word from Delaware Online, which cites "company executives" as its source for news of the Nina delay. The news site reports that "high-volume production" of the Nina will commence in mid-2013, not in late 2012 as previously expected.
If this is how things actually go, the BMW-powered, $45,000 Nina should hit U.S. dealerships by fall of 2013. We're all well aware, though, that this could easily change as the Nina's tentative production date draws nearer. The company's first plug-in hybrid, the Karma, didn't exactly arrive on time, either.
