Vancouver riots on a Car2go Smart Fortwo - Click above to watch video after the jump
Hey, Vancouverites, what's up with your riots? Just because some East Coast team beats you in some important game of hockey doesn't mean you need to go tear up your own town. Case in point, the NSFW video after the jump, which shows a bunch of hyped up and disappointed fans attacking and destroying a Smart Fortwo. After the Stanley Cup loss on Thursday, the city "exploded in riots," said CNN.
What's notable is that this particular Fortwo doesn't belong to any one individual, but to Daimler, since it's part of the just-introduced Car2go car-sharing service in the city (see Daimler's press release after the jump). The Car2go vehicles officially went into service today, but at least one was in place earlier this week. Bad timing.
Thankfully, not everyone was a raging marauder. After watching a bit of the destruction in the video after the jump, skip to around minute 1:55 to see what we mean. Well done, Vancouverite. Thanks to Joseph for the tip!
