VW Tops 7 Million Units in 2010

As was the case with most of the world's manufacturers, 2010 proved to be a very friendly year. Most of them already posted record numbers for the year we left behind, announcing previously unimaginable milestones being achieved.

For Volkswagen, Europe's largest manufacturer and a declared contender to the title of largest manufacturer in the world by 2018, 2010 has left enough room for hope that Toyota will be eating VW's dust soon.
