MG Parent Company SAIC Opens Stateside Operation

Back in 2005, a Chinese company called SAIC (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) bought rights to the MG name, and after 6 years of development, in 2011, they launched their first new car, the all-new MG6 GT, to a less than enthusiastic audience. However, it seems that the Chinese corporation is looking to expand its operation further, so they have crossed the ocean.

And thus, SAIC have set up shop in the US, in Birmingham, Michigan...
