Daimler's fifth Mercedes-Benz advanced design studio worldwide opened today in Beijing, as China's influence in needs and trends grows stronger and stronger. Joining the other studios being located in Germany, Italy, Japan and the USA, the Beijing one covers an area of almost 1,000 sqm.
The new Beijing-based Advanced Design Center will serve as a seismograph, recording and analyzing stylistic trends and incorporating them into the creative process.
