Mitsubishi i Gets Excellent EPA Rating

The North American division of Mitsubishi today announced the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rated its new i battery-powered electric vehicle with best-in-segment "fuel" efficiency in the areas of both mile-per-gallon equivalency (MPGe) and driving range.

Specifically, the Mitsubishi i earned an EPA-rated 126 MPGe in city driving and 99 MPGe out on the highway (112 MPGe combined), as well as a "real world" driving range of 62 miles.
